Ah there we are. Rounding out a week of pointlessly titled days, just to add some variance to this project. Hope you all had a good weekend, Because mine was alright despite being sick.
St. Patrick’s started last night you know. Hope you’re all drinking.
Saturday Showdown
…which involved no fighting, but some drinking. The reason I haven’t updated these last few days (It’s now the night of Thursday 19th) is because of both illness and the drinking associated with St. Patrick’s day, and the surrounding weekends and days. Lots of drinking.
In fact, I was drinking today. We went to a club… Red was over, along with Mary’s friend, who’s name now escapes me.

Frighful Friday
It’s Friday the 13th again, and as much as I’d like to get out there and freak out the establishment, all I could mange to do today was go into to town to pay the rent, get a bacon sandwich in the chipper and head right back home, and get right back in bed.
I’ll keep you posted children. Being weird isn’t just for Friday the 13th.
Thickness Thursday
This has nothing to do with being thick, but I have a cold so I’m having trouble with my s’s. Bed… all day. Very ill.

Tool Review: Challenge power screwdriver
Hello and welcome to the first of, hopefully, many tool purchases and reviews. As an amateur carpenter there is seldom greater a joy than purchasing a new gizmo or whirlygig with which to make working with wood and metal not only easier, but more fun. Who doesn’t love a good gadget?
Today’s tool is a 3.6V power screwdriver from the budget tool range Challenge which I’ve only ever really seen stocked at Argos, a strange mix of warehouse and retail shop.
Just to explain Argos to the those of you out there that don’t know; you walk in, look through the laminated catalog of dreams, fill in your slip with the tiny pens provided, then wait for the great computer God ARGOS to call your number and deliver you your wonderous delights.
Enough of that, on to the screwdriver.

Welfare Wednesday
I’m getting pretty good at these day titles don’t you think?
So this morning was productive: signed on, sent something in the post that I’ve been meaning to send for ages, and started putting money into my bank account.
That’s the plan from now on: soon as I get my dole, put some money in the bank. Start saving. The economy is in the toilet and the banks are secure, so hell, I’m going to use them.

…Ok, so I won’t be doing anything mad or marchy on mondays, but I needed some sort of lead in to this week, so there you go.
Made my awesome meatball dinner again tonight, and the next time I make it, I will include a recipe on this site, and maybe a picture or 2.

Sunday
Slim pickings today, everyone was out of money so we sat around for most of the day eating biscuits, cans of fruit, pasta and whatever else wasn’t nailed down. Senan came round again, and God bless him he brought some rolling tobacco and shared like a champion.
Next time you’re up Senan, I’ll get you a pouch.
Man… my neck looks long. And hairy. I think I’ll get a makeover this week.
WATCHMEN!
We went to see watchmen today, and it was proper EPIC. Sin’s pa came out too and we all headed up to the cottage bar. Packed to the gills with folk, so we sat out in the tin roof smoking area during a hail storm. Swung by the voodoo club after that and listened to a kicking band called Hunter
Banging rendition of Sweet Child of Mine, and a smoking hot chick drummer to boot.
Demonstrating the “superman effect”. Superman took off his glasses and looked really different, as do I.
