Do Nothing Sunday

Man, it’s impossible to get anything done on a Sunday. I mean, you can try, but it’s difficult to get motivated on the day of rest. I spend several years actively participating in the catholic church, so it’s pretty hard to shake that. Not that I have a problem with the catholic church, I just see that I’ve done my bit, and I’ve retired.

However, retiring from retiring from a police force: you still see yourself as a cop, even if you’re not out on the beat every day.

Sleepy Saturday

Even though I’m clinically unemployed at the moment, it’s still nice to know that I don’t have to get up any time before noon on a Saturday. No shopping to do, no rent to pay, no bills to pay, no bins to put out, no nothing. All I have to do is get up, and make breakfast once I get the munchies.

Oh and what a breakfast. Home made hash browns and biscuits, bacon and sausage. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Just because you’re broke doesn’t mean you can’t eat well.

Frank Friday

Sin’s fiancé Frank has come up for the weekend, and it’s always a lot of fun when he’s around, because he plays Bioshock when he’s up. I’m not really a gamer, and besides, I’m not a fan of first person shooters anyway. It’s amazingly immersive, and it’s incredibly stressful, even when you’re not playing it yourself.

I didn’t get a picture of Frank today (Edit: or the rest of the weekend sorry) but when he’s back up next time, which will be in a few weeks time, he’ll be moving in with us. Which will give me plenty of time to take a snapshot and introduce him.

Keep moving forward.
Oh yeah, watched that animated Robinsons movie… you know the one. The Dinosaur has a big head, and little arms.

Would anyone like to see a blurry out of focus me standing behind Timothy Spall, from the set of The Wake Wood?

Click here if you do. Or If you just want to see production stills and information about the first Hammer Horror film in about 30 years.

The picture of the man in the white apron, Timothy freakin’ Spall, behind him is a figure with a dark hat on. the figure has an orange spark in front of him. That’s me! Check that out.

I’ll keep you guys updated with… updates about the film as and when I get them.
