As far as I know, this beer has been most recently co-opted by hipsters as a sign of anti-cool. Because anti-cool is cool… or something.

PBR is a big signal to the 30+ community that you’re a hipster, but the hipster definition is so broad now it extends to anyone under the age of 30 that wears… clothes.

As lauded and lambasted as this beer is, I still haven’t tried it. So tonight with dinner, I drink a Pabst Blue Ribbon. I wonder if I’m a hipster now…
