Yes, very aware I haven’t updated this blog for a long time, and the explanation for that shall come in due time.
But right now this is an announcement for what’s happening here, this month.
Over on Facebook I’ve been involved in a photo series called WTF America since I moved to the US one year ago, yesterday.
It seemed to me from the photo series that Americans (generally) had fun poking fun at their cultural foibles, or enjoyed explaining their strange culture to me. Outsiders had a lot of fun getting a peek into those things that are considered normal here – Religious breakfast cereal for example. I’ve decided to pair the light comedy with other insights into my first year living as a modern immigrant in the US.
So this month I shall be doing my very best to get 50,000 words of the book written, because it’s NaNoWriMo. My plan is to upload either excerpts or full chapters to this page throughout the month, and if this works out well, hopefully I can finish the book and bring it to all of you.
